Welcome to this Miappi How To tutorial. In this tutorial we’ll show you how to add Link Tiles to your Miappi social wall.
Step 1.
Creating Link Tiles are great for advertising merchandise or a cause for donations. Link Tiles can drive traffic to any webpage.
To start with creating your own, navigate to the Link Tile page via the Curate sub-menu.
Step 2.
Here is where you will be able to find all of your created Link Tiles.
To create a new one, click on the “+” a pop-up will appear giving you the option to customize your link tile.
Step 3.
Select the image you would like to use for your tile and enter the URL you want to redirect people to in the highlighted are. You are also able to select a date range for your tile if you would like to use it for a specific amount of time, leaving this space blank means your link tile will remain until you delete it. Once you have done this, select Create Link Tile.
Step 4.
Pinning posts fixes a link tile to a particular position on your social wall. Posts are numbered in an s-shape, starting from left to right then right to left as you move down the page.
Step 5.
Alternatively you can have link tiles randomly flip in on the reverse side of tiles as people scroll down your social wall. Go to:
Customize>Advanced Options>Animations>Flip Tiles>Link Tiles Only
Customize>Advanced Options>Animations>Link Tiles>Show On Flip
