Specialist Marketing Consultant, Paul Doran has joined the London-based Miappi team as its new Marketing Director, to support and nurture both inbound marketing and new partnership strategies.
Doran is a technology and start-up marketer with around 18 years experience. During which time he’s advised and helped hundreds of technology brands and start-ups grow.
The role will focus on the creation of outbound marketing campaigns to further stimulate sales leads, evolving the Miappi story and running a customer success programme. Miappi currently attracts around 750 sign ups per month, and the aim is to drive this past 1,000 per month by the end of the year.
Miappi co-founder, Toby Britton said: “Miappi has been on an incredible journey in the previous two years. We have seen a spate of new partnerships and customers such as British Airways, Sony, Puma, Moet & Chandon, Unilever and Rotary International sign up. Adding new, objective and independent creativity to our team is vital for us to continue to evolve, our market and customers move incredibly quickly, so we need to stay a step ahead.”
Speaking about his appointment, Paul Doran, said: “The social and digital media landscape is at a tipping point. We have seen for the past five years an unquenchable rush to invest in and be active on relevant social media channels. But today and in the next five years, brands are having to work harder to sustain the reach and engagement they once enjoyed. Miappi is on a rising tide, and sits squarely at the centre of a new era for brands and agencies who are more socially progressive.”
